  • How often should I see my therapist ?
    When you are beginning therapy, I usually recommend that you see a therapist weekly when you are getting started. Once you have developed some coping skills around your goals, it is common to move to bi-weekly for continued maintenance until you have reached your therapeutic goals. However, sessions may be scheduled more or less frequently depending on your preference.

  • What are your fees?
    Individual Sessions- $100 for a 50 minute session Couples or Family Sessions- $120-$150 for a 60 minute session Group Sessions- $30-50 per session I offer limited sliding scales, please ask during your free consultation if you are financially needing one.
  • What is Counseling / Therapy?
    Counseling and therapy are professional mental health services that aim to help individuals address emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges in their lives. Counseling/therapy can assist with a wide range of concerns, including but not limited to: Mental Health: Addressing issues like anxiety, depression, stress and trauma. Self-Improvement: Fostering personal growth, self-esteem and sense of purpose. Addiction: Managing and recovering from substance abuse or addictive behaviors. Behavioral Issues: Addressing problematic behaviors in children, adolescents and adults. During counseling/therapy sessions, individuals work with their therapist to explore thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Therapist offer guidance, support and evidence based techniques to help clients develop coping strategies, gain insight, and make positive changes in their lives. These services can be provided in a variety of formats including individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy and group therapy. Services can be provided in person or online. Counseling/therapy provides a safe and confidential space for people to explore their concerns, improve their mental well-being and build a more fullfilling life.   • How can I schedule an appointment?
    If you are a new, you can schedule your free consultation and we will discuss what to expect from our work together, answer any questions you may have and ensure that we are the right fit to help you reach your goals. If you are an existing client , please use the client portal to schedule an appointment.
  • Do you accept insurance?
    I do not accept insurance. You may request a "super bill" from me for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
  • What does Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate mean?
    A Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate is a professional who has completed a minimum of a Masters degree in counseling or a related field. They have passed state examination and requirements to obtain the License Professional Counselor- Associate License and they are consulting and working under direct supervision of a state approved supervisor. During this period they work towards obtaining their 3,000 hours required for state licensure.
  • Do you provide in-person or online counseling?
    At this time I only provide counseling online through a secure HIPPA complaint portal.
  • How do I schedule a coaching session with you?
    You can use the book your free consultation if you are a new client. If you are an existing client you can schedule using the client portal. If you have any issues or questions feel free to use the contact form or give me a call at 512-774-5031.
  • How much does coaching cost?
    Individual Coaching Sessions- $100 for a 50 minute session. Group Coaching- $ 30- $60 * I offer limited sliding scales from $60-$90

    During Life Coaching you will work towards clarifying specific goals you would like to achieve and work with a life-coach to overcome obstacles and create a plan to get you there. Coaches work with the client to identify obkectives in areas suchs as personal development, career, education, relationships and overall well-being. Action-Orientated: Life coaching emphasizes taking action and implementing strategies to reach desired outcomes. Coaches help clients develop action plans and provide accountability. Accountability: A life coach can help keep you accountable in reaching your goals and helps empowers you to make informed decisions, gain clarity, build self-confidence.
